Hey everyone!
This is my sixth contest on here, and I wanted to make it a bit special. I have to admit, I am completey borrowing this idea from both GuitarShank and Cactus Jack, but it looked cool, so I wanted to give it a go! :)
Ok, this is the idea, everyone enters, and I will send you a prompt. It could be a picture, it could be a topic, it could be a starting line or idea. I will take a look at some of your stories and decide what to give you. If you are a new member, tell me what your favourite genre to write about is, and I shall come up with something.....:p
Anyway...the rules. Don't worry, I'll keep them short.:)
1. Spell check and grammer.......you know the drill by now people!
2. You can write about religion, but don't start slagging off anyone else's, you will be DQ and reported.
3. Keep the word limit under 3000, I have a job too :)
4. Put your favourite song in your author's notes so I know you've read this. If you don't, you don't stand a chance of winning, even if your story is amazing.

- Final notes: Well, I have to say, this wasn't my best contest, as most people wasted time by not even entering, but anyway.....
Out of who did enter, it was pretty hard, but I chose who won on not only the best story with the most impact, but also who used the prompts most effectively.
Anyhoo, well done to all the winners, I hope you enjoyed entering, and thank you very much for taking part, I really enjoyed reading them all.

about ur contest. i'm new at this so how do i submit a story? what r points for? and how do i put "my favourite song in my authors notes"? haha. sorry. -

Just add a new story with one line like 'I'd like a prompt please!' so I know you want enter, and then I will leave a comment that will contain your prompts.
Points are for lots of different things on SW, you can use them to put your story in the 'featured stories' section (on the right-hand side of the page), to host your own contests, to give rewards, to put forward your story in the 'shameless' section, or even to give points to someone! There are a few pages here which might help you

Also, when you add your story, scroll down, and there should be a box with 'Author's Notes' written above it. You can just write your favourite song in here, This is also used if you wish to add notes about your story the reader wouldn't otherwise know.
