Sketching With Words

[Contest]
Describe just that single moment that changed you forever, or impacted you so fully that it stays with you all the time.

Work, artfully, as much detail into your story as you can without it feeling repetitive or list-like. Use descriptive texture.

Make your readers *feel* every nuance, every gesture, every breath.

Think of it like studying an object for drawing. This is sketching a moment with words.

Any sort of moment goes, just make it relative. (Life,Death,Love,Hate,Passion,Fear,Lust,Jealousy,Triumph,Tribulation,Ecstasy...etc.)

[Rules]

Please no:
-Poetry (Creativity in presentation is fine.)
-Fantasy (by this I mean superhuman things; think vampires and warewolves)
-Porn (hinting at erotica is fine)

Please use proper grammar and punctuation.

Please limit your story to 1500 words(ish).

Have fun!

    Arg!

I've recently had an idea for a story that would fit into this contest. This may be just the excuse to write it.

Oh! And I'll be holding you personally responsible for my mental state afterwards.
