Yay! My first contest! Alright, I'm going to try and make this a really fun contest.
Prizes:
Gold goes to the very best story that I read.
Silver goes to the best story in my favourite sector: Comedy!
Bronze goes to the very lucky one who happens to please me in my least favourite sector: Depression.
Honourable mentions go to unfinished entries with a lot of potential.
Rules (will DQ if you don't follow even one of these, sorry):
1. nO TyPiNg LiKe ThIs. It's very, VERY annoying.
2. Please don't include much gore in your stories. I don't want my computer smelling like dinner.
3. Erotica is allowed! Hooray to all the porno freaks out there!
4. You must have what type of story it is in your author's notes.
5. No more than 2000 word count pleeeeaaaase! I'm a busy man as well as a weird one.
6. Knock yourselves out and have fun!
7. PRIORITY ONE!!! No animals harmed in your story! If I hear of a scratch on any animal, good or evil, I will DQ you instantly.
8. I like
*New note*
I have been noticing that most people have not been adhering to my rules, and though they have been great stories, they have to be DQed. For any new people who are entering, PLEEEEEAAAASE make sure your story corresponds to the contest rules so I don't have to DQ anyone else! I feel guilty!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 30, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 150, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 9 people
- Final notes:
Well, it's the end. I had a great time reading everyone's entries and I hope they all enjoyed my comments and critiques (it's my first time trying this sort of stuff to be honest )
The Winners
Gold (Best Story) goes to Why I Don't Write Romance. A sick twisted short story that seems innocent. Give it a good read.
Silver (Comedy Sector) goes to Mugs Away. A typical male suburban humour that really shows what a true man's made out of.
Bronze (Depression Sector) goes to The Pain That You Caused Me. Last words written by a suicidal woman that really tears you up. Nice read.
Too many honourable winners to describe them all: there's over 9. As I said, honourable mentions went to starters with a lot of potential; these stories all had it.
Congrats to all winners, and consolations to the unlucky ones that didn't get a place.
My next contests going to have something about pets if you're interested in getting together a story for it. s, 's, 's, and even 's are welcome.
