What inspires you? Song Prompt.

Right, thought I would have another contest since it was some time since my first one. In this contest I want you to listen to the song 'Bring Me To Life' by Evanescence and write about what it makes you think of and what you feel.
I don't mind if you write this in story form or whether it is your own feelings on what this song brings to mind.

Hint: Don't watch the music video itself, just listen to it. I find it distracts me from what I first think of.

The dreaded rules.

1. No StIcKy CaPs, not that I have ever seen these on the site! But everyone adds it in, so why not me?!
2. I would like it to be less than 2000 words, but if it is slightly more, ask first.
3. I would prefer the feelings entries to be unlike the music video itself, I will discard if it is too like this. However you can write a story from the video if you wish. (Does that make sense?!)

    These were all really good, but unfortuantely I only had a limited amount of trophies to give out. Thankyou to everyone who entered.
    The gold winner was i think deserving if this award. IT was detailed, interesting and heart felt. Well done.
    The silver winner was very interesting to read, very dark, yet hopefully at the sam etime.
    Well done to Bronze award winner too. I hope that you have truly got over what has happened to you. Well done.
    And the last winner deserves this award, altough i honestly could have awarded all of them. I thought this was really interesting.
