scary stories time!

I want something that will scare the shit out of me like black chirstmas or something like silent hill scary randomly like where a girls car stops and she walks up to a house you can write about it like that but you can use it as a expamle must be gorey and scary
I'm talking scary scary like something like when a stranger calls. if you dont know any of these movies. Please look them up on google. Cause some of the ones i have gotten are good but prewritten (my fault) and not scary. I want something like were a girls in the house and she gets calls abd the murder has seceret passages and ways of seeing her. Or a girl is a slave not like back then like black slaves but she lives in basment and is hannibal and eats some what regular food.

    Scary and gory?

    Would it be okay to write something that was scary without being gory? I've been thinking of trying to write something scary, but what I had in mind was more of spooky scary rather than gory scary.
