You have been living under a bolder if you have not heard the saying "don't judge a book by its cover". Well the new black is "do judge a book by its first page". If you are a reader as well as a writer you will properly have that habit where you judge a book by its first page, if you like it, you read it and if you don't like it, you don't read it. The concept of this contest is simple, write me the 'first page' or first chapter of a novel and the writer that writes the page that makes me want to read the book the most as a reader, is the winner. So put pen to paper and make a start to that novel you have been meaning to write!

err oops...mine isn't disasterous *removes* unless you just meant it has to have one or more of them but probably not.
-
*cheeeeers*
Ooooh, I like this. However
I read the first page of a book AND a random page in the middle
I've bought a couple of books that had good introductions, only to have my interest for it wane and collapse in the following chapters
I'd try to do something good.. hmm..

use as many as you can but at times its difficult to put 2 and 2 together. if you want my advise i would advize you to use as many as possible! good luck

I might've entered mine twice, my mistake. *sweatdrop* -
Contest Question
I have a question... What is your favorite genre? If I don't know that, how can I possibly enter the contest? -
Thanks
