Now, I know my last contest was a complete disaster but I was hoping to prove myself as responsible with this one. I wanted to earn 3,000 points so all trophies could get 1,000, but maybe next time?
Rules...
1. No categories such as: Erotica, Adult, or Abuse. (I can not view them because of my age, and I hate the DQing routine.)
2. I honestly don't mind sticky caps or all caps, you won't get DQed for it-but please keep in mind I'd rather not read it like that.
3. No bashing religion, etc. (you know all this)
4. Swearing is all right, but not every other word.
5. Don't worry toooo much about grammar, spelling, and punctuation...I myself am not a fan of it all.
6. Please don't make it too long, but not too short. I trust your judgement.
Okay now for the options...
1. Do you all know the car game Mash O Mash? Well, I want you to play it (if you don't know what it is, contact me and I will explain) and create a story from that information. I am excited to see who does this!!
2. Try a writing exercise and show me what comes of it. Tell me what exercise in the author notes, please...here are some if you can't find any...
A. Randomly choose 3 words from the dictionary and some how use those words in a story.
B. Use an article from a newspaper or magazine as the base of your story.
C. Take a sign (such as: Roadside Cafe) and build a story around it.
3. Use these prompts to begin or end a story (just use one of them, or more, anywhere you see fit)...
A. I remember the day my best friend told me...
B. I just refuse to believe...
C. The room was spinning in slow, nauseating twirls and I felt myself descend into unconsciousness.
D. "You're crazy! We can't..."
E. His eyes were narrowing to slits at each word I let roll from my tongue.
(If you want another one because these give you no idea's-message me).
4. Use a picture, any picture you can find, (appropriate) to inspire you...just give me the link in your authors note.
5. Use a joke you know or find on the internet, and build a bigger story around it.
6. Original horror or romance-I don't want the: "he had a bad childhood so started cutting people up" or: "they bumped into each other, books flying every where, and it was love at first sight!"
7. A quote...you can also use on for inspiration, just include it in the story or tell me it in the authors note.
Have fun, and I apologize again for the last contest!!
