Hola my peeps and fellow writers! So, i haven't done one of these amazing contests in soooo long and i feel like being inspired. So, here's the deal, I want you to find a quote, any quote. It can be funny, sad, silly, inspiring. It can be about friendship, love, happiness, whatever you choose. Then, i want you to write a story based off your quote OR has that quote written somewhere into the story. I want to see some creativeness here, so really get your creative juices flowing!
RULES and STUFF.....
-NO erotica (i don't wanna feel like i'm reading porn ok?)
-Cursing kept to a minimum
-NO sticky caps!
-GREAT grammar and spelling (do the best that you can, proof read!)
-USE PARAGRAPHS!!!!!!
-The quote you used to write your story MUST be put in the author's notes or at the very beginning of the story in "quotation marks"! if you do not make it clear what quote you used i will DQ you....
-I will also except poems or lyrics
-WORD LIMIT: please please please keep your story under 2,000 words! i know you can do it!
BROWNIE POINTS and HELP.....
* i love stories that make me cry. If you make me cry then you'll probably win something from this contest. BUT making my cry doesn't necessarily mean your story has to be sad.
*I'm a sap for stories about best friends or brothers.
*Pre-writes will be allowed but news stories will be chosen above pre-writes.
* If you're having trouble finding a quote i have a whole bunch on my page here on storywrite. you can visit it if you want or search the net.
