Write me something about the end of the world - or more precisely, AFTER the end of the world. I want good quality writing. Angst too. I love angst very much, and if there is good quality angst you have a good quality chance of winning. I guess (if I can figure out how in time) I'll keep extending the deadline until I have enough good quality entries to judge, mmmkay?
Rules
1. Make these as long or as short as you want. There is no excuse for bad quality. Do what you must if that's what you wish.
2. Don't be afraid of offending me. Or grossing me out. Or scaring me. Or… well you get the picture. Hit me (well, not *me* per say) with all you've got. Don't hold back – don't he-si-TATE!
…
So… I don't care. Really, I don't. like I said, do what you must.
3. Spell-check. Capital at the beginning, period at the end. Spell check. Give me punctuation. You know the drill.
If that hasn't given you an idea of what you want, how about this: I have been recently possessed by a grammar demon. His name is Mephistopheles Asmodai. Don't tick him off. DON'T.
4. If you were inspired by a song, video, essay (?), etc., or were even just listening to random things that set the mood for the story, tell me what they are. Especially if it's a good story. And a good song, whatever. I like good background music.
5. Have fun. Do your best. Yadda, yadda. Or if you're NOT doing your best, Don't let me know. Write me some winners, here, folks. There are no limitations, and therefore, no excuses.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 6, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 222, Silver: 111, Bronze: 55, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: I could make a whole bunch of excuses as to why I took such a long time judging this contest, but you probably wouldn’t care. I am deeply sorry for that.
All that aside, I really enjoyed reading everyone’s stories, even though I may not have left a review. If you, however, want me to leave one, please ask. I owe you at least that much for making you wait that long.
Congratulations, winners – everyone else put on a good show, too. I’m glad everyone came out…

Woot!
I've begun to write something! Experimenting on.. a new style, wah, I'm so excited
thanks for tickling my muse and I wish I make it to the deadline!
-
-
Yay! I can't wait for you to post something... Don't worry, the deadline will probably be extended for a very long time. Maybe until February? I can't get enough of post-apoc stories, to tell you the truth...
-
-
Wow, an extension!
That's quite good for me and the others who're probably writing too!!!
I hope you get the desired entires that you want
*will attempt to whip up something good*

Does it specifically have to be the end of the WORLD or could it be the end of..someone's world?
-
-
I am sure that I can make the exception. I mean, the world is relative, right? So go ahead!
-
-
Don't close early, please!
I knew I wanted to enter this contest the moment I read about it, but I've been really bogged down with schoolwork lately and haven't had the chance to write until now! I'm not asking for another extension, but I know sometimes people end their contests early. All I'm saying is....don't, please, I've got the perfect idea for it.
Thanks! -
i love rem it's the end of the wortld as we know it
-
I had actually started to write something for this contest and then I don't know what happened. I'm interested to see who wins, though.

HEY
what does angst mean??????????? -
What does angst mean ? (I'm lost at the moment)
-
-
adj.: describes a situation or literary piece which contains dark, depressing, angry, and/or brooding emotions from the participating characters. Often used to describe fan fiction.
n.: a category or group of above described literary pieces.
ex//Despite her happy countenance, Anna tended to quietly read angst fanfics in her free time.
thankies, urban dictionary.
oddly enough, 'angst' is German for 'fear'...
wonder how that got twisted?
-
-
ARGH!
I soooooo want to write something for this...but some part of my brain must have an objection to this...it won't let me. -
Whoa...this contest has been up for a long time...lol
