I want a story with an important, meaningful kiss in it. It can be the last kiss to a dying lover, a mafia-style kiss of death, or the first kiss of true love that awakens the princess from her ensorcelled sleep, but it has to be there and it has to be important.
So, the rules:
1) The entry has to be a story, so no poetry or freeform rants.
2) There has to be a kiss in the story somewhere.
3) The story has to be in a language I understand.
4) No furry porn.
5) No fanfiction.
6) A soft limit of 2000 words applies. I want that one kiss, not an epic.
7) No net speak, no 'u' for 'you' etc.
Judging will be based purely on my own personal taste. Focus will be on content.

Oh, crap. I just reread the rules and realized that the word limit is 2000. Mine is about 900 over. May I keep it in the contest, or should I remove it?
