Geek

It's something that I have been called many times...even by myself. So, for this contest, I want you to write a story that focuses on a geek or nerd (brownie points for a female geek!). I want you to show the geek in a POSITIVE way, no bashing (though bad things can happen to them). Band geeks, computer geeks, and math geeks get brownie points too!

Simple, right?

Now, before you get started, just some rules:
1. No erotica, please. I can't stand reading the stuff!
2. Limit cursing. I don't mind some, but if its every other word its very annoying.
3. DoN't TyPe LiKe ThIs, ThOuGh It ShOuLd Go WiThOuT sAyInG...

I'm looking for more entries! I'm giving lots of points! I've seen so many "geeky" stories on this site...I know there's more than what's been entered! It's ok if your character is not a bonafide geek, so long as they have some geeky tendencies.
