My first Contest.......enter if you dare

Okay, this is my first contest, and I want lots and lots of entries. I have absolutely nothing better to do, so please, enter at will!

I do have some rules, here they are!!!!

1) I want only 10,000 words at the most, I do have better things to do with my life than sit at the computer. Or at least I think I do.

2) No erotica. Okay, I'm not a kid, you can include subtle hints on it, but I want a proper story.

3) No swearing, unless you feel it is needed. This means that I only want it if the character os really angry, rather than him using a single word as a prefix to every word.

4) No gay bashing. I don't mind God bashing, but only if the story is getting a message across through it. We love the gays, do not taunt them.

That's it fr the rules, now here are the options of genre:
Fantasy
Horror
Comedy
Love and Romance

If you want to do Fan Fiction, I will allow it, but only if it follows these caregories:
The Phantom of the Opera (or basically any musical)
Any Jane Austen books
Friends (the programme)

Also, if you want, send me a message to get a song to base your story on. I will send you the name of the song and artist, but believe me, I will make this as tricky as possible.
-------------------------------------------------------
Okay, that's all that I can think of. I don't want to be waiting absolutely ages, so I will be closing the contest on 6th December unless I get less than 10 entries.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on December 8, 2007
  • Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 2 people
  • Final notes:
Hey everyone! Thanks for entering my contest, I'm so glad so many people wanted to join seeing as it was my first. All stories were amazing, and I promise that I will be making more contests in the future for those who didn't win.

A lot of people showed potential here, and I hope the comments I gave on your stories helped a bit.

    Good luck in the future!
