Time.
Time passes.
Can time be wasted? Or lost?
Can time be gained?
Can time slow down?
What is time?
Is time man-made or has it always been there.. steadily creeping by?
I want you to use this for inspiration. Not in a way that you have to stick to one of the questions, but I want you to write something about time. Maybe it involves a time machine. Maybe it involves a broken watch. Maybe somethnig huge happens which shakes time... breaks time... causes time to rearrange.
Rules (Read these to save time)
-300-7500 words. Unless you are REALLY proud of yourself. But, if it's over 7500 words, and I'm not liking it, I may not take the time to finish reading.
-Keep it relating to time.
-I'd really prefer a deep, inspirational theme, but I'm into humour, romance, etc. as well.
-Contest will close in two weeks time. I may comment before that, but don't be upset if I don't.
-As for swearing, erotica, etc. anything goes.. but make sure you're stories tagged appropriately.
Prewrites are [at this time] allowed.
Prizes (For the time being)
Gold: 200
Silver: 100
Bronze: 50
Honorable mentions: 2
I believe I've wasted enough time typing, so now it's time for you to go write those stories.
(I've mentioned the word 'time' 22 times in this whole document [including that one and the title.] and that is a personal record.)

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on December 3, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: Thank you all for your entries in this contest on "Time." I'm sorry that I took so long with reading and judging but I haven't had access to a computer in a little while. The entries, for the most part, were inspiring and what I was looking for. The winning entries really grabbed me and inspired me. Good job to all and good luck in all my future contests.

Time is a waste of time.
-
-
That comment was a waste of time
-
-
That's because time's already wasting my time, so I didn't feel that I had anything else to do with my time, except to waste your time.
-
-
In my opinion, time can't be wated, only recycled because we never run out of time, only gain more for later. For example right now, I'm running out of time before my next class. Yet, I'll till have time until the end of the day, when the bell rings.
-
-
If time can be recycled, how come time is wasting my time, and my comment is wasting your time? Will the time come back another time?
I hope the time doesn't drag by in the lesson for you, as it would in my time.
But at the end of the day, do you have anything to do that doesn't waste the time that you've already wasted time reading these comments? -

Well, see, now classtime is over, yet I'm using my time staying after school, so that when the time is right, I can sell yearbooks to all the parent's who took time off their busy work-related lives to come in and check on their children's progress (tonight is parent-teacher). Hoever, it's not quite time yet to sell yearbooks, so for the next 3 hours of my time I'm going to be at this school computer, using my time to an affective advantage.

-
time. what is time? do you think time is man made? I think time is not real, time is just something we created to get past the natural barriers of time, and the barriers in your mind, and soul.
