Now that the horror of a 'sad ending' contest is over, i can start a new contest. now i pray im not getting myself over my head again this time.
What I want is long stories, at least 3000 words. but, I'm only going to read the first maybe 1000 words. if you havent hooked me, i wont finish it. if i do finish it, youre a finalist by default lol.
i will only review stories ive finished.
now i want to point out, your story might be great, but if you dont have a good lead in i wont read it. on the oither hand, you might have a good hook, but the story sucks. so, this contest isnt nececarily a judgment of you story, but of your lead in, which is a key part of any story, because i know personally ill click out of a story if its no good.
the trophies, however, will be chosen from the best full story that i was able to finish.
good luck!
rules
minimum words: 3000
maximum words: 25000 (i want long stories, not novels lol!)
almost anything allowed, just be reasonable
dont enter unfinished works. novels are fine, but they have to be complete
please dont enter a long story entered in my previous contests because i either have already read or not read it and it kinda defeats the purpous.

LOL, weren't you just bemoaning the 100,000+ words you had to read for your other contest (merci boucoup for the HM, by the bye! I appreciate it. :-)
Good luck judging this contest! (I envy your ability to actually pay attention to long stories. I'm really bad about that when they're on the computer.) -

yeah i was, which is why im only reading the first 1000 words unless i like it lol! i loved some of the long stories in that contest (which i wouldnt have even clicked on outside the contest because of the length), but there were quite a few i got bored of very quickly. this way, i only have to read the good ones, its genius! lol! well, maybe not... what can i say, im a masochist lol.

I must admit I am pretty bad at reading long stories on here as well. Seeing that little bar on the side get smaller and smaller, its almost like a deterrent. I bet I'm missing some of the best work on here just because it looks too long. Nice idea for a contest. Good Luck.
