Your prompt is the same as last time: HEAT

Anything to do with heat ( environment,  house, car, spouse, boss,  emotions,  body, soul)

You get it.

First I had a contest on the SICILIAN SESTET

http://allpoetry.com/contest/2573959-Write_6_lines_____Sicilian_Seset___-_PROMOT

Then I had a contest on the ITALIAN SESTET

http://allpoetry.com/contest/2575117-WRITE_6_MORE_LINES_-_write_an_Italian_Seste

Each one of them appear WITHIN a DORN SONNET

So that is what this contest is about. You may use any or all or none of your prior work.  You may use some of someone else's work.   Just put together a DORN SONNET,

Specs and template below.

I expect it to be my last contest this year, just am not positive.

Anyway ALWAYS up for something new or to stir the pot, I am getting INVENTIVE or

GOING NUTS again.

You may use any poem that was entered into the above contests as a part of this contest.  No problem if they are poem YOU wrote.

If you want to use SOMEONE else's poem, great but politely obtain their permission first.  After having done that add your own contribution…it may be a simple couplet between the two sestets.

The AUTHOR of any SESTET used in someone else's poem that wins Gold, Silver, or Bronze trophies will received 600 points for each of their poems used, no matter in how many poems.  So if all winners have selected one of JOE-BLOWS sestets, and he places…the original author would received 1800 points.

The same deal applies to the Honorable Mention winners, but the amount to the Original Author will then be 400 points.

The Honorable Mentions will be added only once we have enough qualified entrants.

1. The form is created from an Italian Sestet followed by a couplet followed by a Sicilian Sestet.

2. There are two rhyme schemes given, the first uses the same rhyme ending from the first sestet in the second sestet, these two schemes are:

a) a,b,c,a,b,c-d,d-a,e,a,e,a,e, this scheme is likely to be complex to fulfill in English a language poor in rhyme.

b) a,b,c,a,b,c-d,d-e,f,e,f,e,f, this is the easier of the two schemes to use in English.

3. The meter to be used is Iambic Pentameter.

4. The form divides into three sections. The first sets up the theme of the poem. The centre couplet provides the turn and sets up for the second section which provides a variation of the opening theme.
