I just lost my wiener dog after 12 years of companionship. I need to smile. I would like for you to write about your lap dog or puppy in rhyme only. Good rhyme only. Rhyme makes me smile. Doggies and puppies make me smile. Now, can you make me smile? I sure hope so.

- Sorry for the loss of your doggy. Our son had a dachshund, Buster; when he married and moved out (taking the dog) my husband was so sad. He bought Simon Dog, also a dachshund, to fill in the gap. Buster died a few years back (it was his back) but his brother, Bowser, lives on with two younger pups - Daisy and Duke.
Thank you for the honor of silver in your contest. Thank you all for caring about my Kipper dog and my loss. Your poems were uplifting and great. I even feel a little bit better. Thanks again for your efforts.

It is so painful to loose these dear ones...I understand the heartache. I do dog rescues and I see some awful sad sights...blessed is the one who has loved one of these precious ones...I believe there is a special paradise for our beloved four legged friends...if ever any soul on this earth deserves peace and love...it is them...Az
- Doggone it I ain't no drunk driver is a piece I wrote for a contest that had the image of a dog driving a car. I could not upload the pix at the time nor now cause my computer won't let me do it. Sorry. You would've laughed for sure.
