Here's a chance to sound off and get it out of your system, all in good fun.  Rhyme is optional for this challenge, but meter is mandatory, and I'll give a 200 point bonus to anyone who nails the rhythm.   Keep it clean (G-rated) and reasonably short (40-ish line maximum).

Judging Notes

Thanks, all -- you came up with an interesting and diverse collection of pet peeves that brought many a fresh smile.  I awarded the gold to "Untamed Blame," which not only explores the topic with wit and style, but also stands as a prime example of rollicking rhythm.  The silver goes to "Crack Kills," which turned my tickle box completely upside down, and the bronze to "Infomercials," which proves my premise that rhyme is non-essential to (and often gets in the way of) enjoyable metrical verse.  I added a few HM's as well.  If any of the finalists did not receive the nail-the-rhythm reward points, be sure to let me know.
