Here's a little something differant. While done a lot on AllPoetry, I havent seen it here much. This is a multi-round contest, so make sure you read the rules!
Each round I will set a challenge, and a set amount of people will progress to the next round. Simple enough? The requirments of the rounds will get more challenging as we go along. This round will last 2 weeks, and each subsequent round 1 week. I will decide the number of rounds when I see how many entries there are to this contest. I know it seems hard, a story each week, but if you're up for a challenge you should have some fun. I doubt too many stories will be over 1000 words, unless specified by the contest. However, please don't enter if you don't intend to continue. The stories I ask for may not be stories at all, but prose peices, describing a scene, a conversation, or something similar. However, no poetry. I'm sorry, but this is a story site, not a poetry site.
So, I think thats about it for the explanation.
This round, your story will be prompted by a song. However you can't use any lines from the song in the story itself (It could be the title though). Now, I think I'm letting you guys get off light, because you can use any song you want! Just make sure you place the lyrics in your authors notes, or at least the title and artist with a link to the lyrics.
Rules. no sticky caps, no bashing, no erotica, no poems, correct labeling of adult or abuse content. religous writes allowed, religous bashing is not.

- Final notes: All three entries were amazing! i was really blown away by the quality from you guys, i expected a bunch of crappy entries with a few gems lol. great work guys, and ive even doubled the points!
For the continuing, this was to be a multiround contest but with only three entries its a little dificult... I think I'm going to hold one more contest, as a sort of final for you guys. I'll send the link out once I make it, since stupid me didn't do so before judging. It will be invite only, and I'll give you something to put in your authors notes so i know for sure that only the invited are entering. I'm sorry there will only be two rounds, but no one else entered unfortunatly. I think i scared them off lol
