Childrens Playground

Hellooooooo all.

New story contest, yay me.

Stories involving children are always tricky to write, because many of us dont remember the thoughts as a kid, and because they dont always have the same themes as those of older characters.

So this time, I'm after stories where the main character is under 13. Almost any theme is allowed (can be happy or sad, but must have a point to it, it can't just be a happy recount of a day at the beach where everyone swam and ate and went home). prewrites are also allowed, but only one entry each so choose your best.

Rules
- no erotica, children have no place in erotica.
- no sticky caps, bashing, etc
- no word limit
- use reasonable backgrounds and text for reading.
- stories only, this is a story contest not a poetry contest. poetic prose may be considered.
- the main character must be under 13. however the main character and narrator can, of course, be differant.

more points and places added at judging. so go for it everyone, good luck!

13 is really a teenager... does the story deal with childhood issues or teenage issues? if its teenage, no, but if its a story about a child then ill accept it. i suppose enter it and we'll see what happens
