How would you do it?

Hello everybody!

In this contest, I would like some romantic stories! I usually go for the dark, horror, bloodgutsandgore types, but I'm in a different mood today.

What I want is stories about a couple getting engaged. Make up some incredibly romantic way of a man or woman proposing to the person they love.

If you want to add a bit of a twist, maybe the proposee says 'no'! If so, why?

If you want to make it a simple, beautiful love story, that is just as good!

Please no longer than 1000 words. I have got internet problems at home at the moment, and the only time I have here is at work..... so I cant spend TOOOOO long reading!

Any genre and category is fine. Just label appropriately, ok?



(I got engaged last Sunday, so I want to see if anyone has a more romantic idea for a proposal than what my boyfriend came up with!!! )
