Hi, everyone! This is my first solo contest and I'm excited about it!
So. Lately, when I go to the bookstore, I find myself jumping from section to section. From romance, to sci-fi, to fantasy . . . because the stories I want could be in any of them.
That's right. What I want is a great paranormal romance. (Anita Blake, anyone?)
Okay, let's get the business stuff over with.
Rules:
1. Erotica, gay/lesbian, and all other not-kiddie- friendly stuff is fine with me. I'd actually prefer a little X-rated action in there, but remember to actually include a story too.
2. Minimum- 500 words. I want to really get your characters, believe they're real. Max- 5000. I got a life too, people! (jk)
3. I'd prefer new stories, but prewrites are fine if they fit the bill.
Bonus stuff:
Just so you know, you'll get brownie points for using any of the following couples . . .
-a demon and a witch/wizard
-a vampire and a werewolf
-an elf and a warlock (male or female)
-human with any of the above Others
I'm no prude, so I don't care how you spin this . . . but give me something good. I want to care what happens, so I'm challenging you to show your best work.
