Here's the scene......
A man comes home from work early one night. He notices the bedroom light is on, and decides to go and surprise his wife.
Walking into the bedroom, he is horrified to see her in bed with another man. They look at each other for a second, before he turns and leaves without a word.
Up until that moment, they have had a happy four year marriage. They didn't argue, the sex life was great, there is no apparant reason for his wifes' infidelity.
WHat I want you to do, is take on one of their perspectives. After he left, they both wrote a letter to the other, explaining what they feel about what happened, why it happened, where they want to go from there, etc.
If you are a male entering, write the letter from his perspective.
If you are female, write from hers.
I want to really feel the emotion. I want to be able to cry for how hurt he is. I want to be able to understand why she did it, and want to forgive her.
Give me raw, vivid feeling!

- Final notes: I have to admit that I was blown away by these letters. They were all I hoped they would be and more, so much so that I felt I had to add a prize, as the top three were all so very close. I really do want to thank you all for helping make this a really sucessful contest.
