Okay, now that you are in here...let me tell you what I want.
I want stories about mental illness...someone, although I prefer the main character, has whatever mental illness flights your fancy. I'd prefer not to have all depression stories or whatever so go do a google search for Pete's sake.
This can be a sad story...a story where the person kills people (yay)...a story of just what is going on in their minds...I don't care, just as long as it's about a mental illness.
Since I'm only allowing 10 entries...You can reserve your spot ONLY if you actually plan on following through and writing something.
Just enter a new story on this page saying Reserving Spot or whatever then when you finish your story change that story to what you have written and change the title.
Now for the rules: (clears throat)
1. Nothing over 2500 words. My attention span is super limited at the moment.
2. Watch your grammar and spelling...I'm so not in the mood to sift through something that makes my head hurt when all you had to do was run it through an online spell/grammar checker.
3. Any genre is accepted.
4. No weird ass typing...headache thing again.
5. Okay there isn't a five but it didn't feel even without this so.
Anyways that's it! So get to writing...cuz for the first time ever ladies and gentlemen...I'm NOT allowing prewrites. I know I'm so evil.

- Contest was judged on October 27, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 7 people
- Final notes: This was quite possibly my most favorite contest to host. I really liked all the entries and it was hard to pick which story got which place. Because I only allowed 10 entries and the entries were so good, I gave everyone a medal. Be proud of yourself, you all did a great job!

I have a prewrite.
I'll bet you've heard that before. I'll try to write something about bipolar because I am bipolar, but I have got a prewrite. Let me know if you open to prewrites.

Oh, I really want to enter, but I doubt I'll actually come up with something. I have the idea all set out in my head, but words aren't coming easily as of late.
Awesome contest though. Best of luck! -
You know what's sad? My story already has the most comments, and I haven't even written it yet.
