I am looking for anything. ANYTHING.
Got that?
Some things for you to be aware of:
If there are too many typos, and too many grammar mistakes, I will stop reading and disqualify. End of.
I'm partial to gay romance and poetic-type, deep, philosophical stuff.
By that, I don't mean poems. I've been through the poetry stage, and can now wave back at it with smiling eyes. But poetry bores me. Unless it's something fabulous, like Rosen or Milligan, I just can't stand it. So entering that isn't your best bet.
Swear as much as you want to.
For some absurd reason concerning age, the site won't let me read stories tagged as 'adult', etc. So don't enter them.
I can be pretty mean if something displeases me.
Hallmark similes and metaphors annoy me.
Horror and gore turns me off.
Also, I'm away next week, so if I don't comment on your story right away, don't panic. I will eventually.
Oh, and word limit: 100 - 1,500 words. I have a short attention span.
Message me if you have something you're dying to enter which exceeds that, and I'll see.
So yeah. Go enter.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 13, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 150, Bronze: 125, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: Thanks to everyone who entered [: The winners were truly deserving, but very hard to order. I'm sorry it took so long to judge, but I've been away.
If I didn't manage to comment on your entry, I'm really sorry. If you want me to do so, then message me and I will.
Once again, thanks to everyone for entering. Don't be discouraged at my harsh judging, enter as many contests as you can. Trust me, they're the best way to improve your writing.
Omega.
