MY FINAL NOTES FOR THIS CONTEST:
Okay, so as many of you guys know, I have had this contest running for quite a while now, and I do need to close it (Planned date: Mar. 16th at the most]
PLEASE: NO MORE ENTRIES! ALL ENTRIES SUBMITTED AFTER MAR. 8TH WILL NOT BE READ OR VIEWED BY ME!
*IMPORTANT* FOR ALL THOSE WHO HAVE ENTERED *IMPORTANT*
Taylor is the co-judge because I declare her a co-judge because she's the one who picked 2/3rd of the finalists for me. Now, before anyone whines about how unfair that is, I will straight out tell you that 1)Tay is smart and has very good judgment, and 2)I gave her an exact list of what I look for in each entry--so exact that you couldn't possibly make it more specific.
Now, you may be thinking:
That's not fair! I so deserve a spot on that list!
And I'll say this:
If you believe your entry deserves a chance on the finalist list, please, feel free to message me and tell me that you think your story deserves a spot on the list. Otherwise, I won't know.
Now, if you're thinking this:
But I want comments.
I'll say this:
I will not randomly go comment your stories so you can have bigger number of comments.
But, if you're thinking this:
I want to improve on my writing and I want all the help I can get. But darn, why can't she read mine???
I'll say this:
No worries. Message me specifically stating that you want help with writing and therefore want me to read your writing. I shall read it after I close this contest.
Again, I won't know what you are thinking unless you tell me.

- Final notes: Hellos guys and girls =)
This contest has been going on for a long time.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, as I promised...I did have it all down on Mar. 17th (Well, a day later than I said) but I couldn't find the judge button. Finds out that I have to read all entries before I can judge. So that is what I did. Wow. I get to study for my freaking Gov't test tomorrow now. Haha.
Anywhos. I did read everyone's stories. I commented on some...not on others. I'm sorry about that, and if you would like me to comment yours purely for the purpose of improving, then feel free to message me with your story title.

About rule ten, do you want no fantasy or sci-fi period? Or does that only apply to fan-fic, nurato types of stories?
-
-
I don't want fantasy or sci-fi period. I can't get into them and they don't appeal to me much at all, so unless someone lives for 95% fake comments of really bad comments, I suggest they don't enter them in my contests.
I mean, I do enjoy certain fan fics & certain fantasy stories. But not the kind most people write about.
-
-
Wow. wow. wow.
Gosh...I thought I was mean in my contests...
Jp!
lol. This is a fantastic contest.
I am going to write something for it! -
-
Hehe.
In all my other contests, I've been pretty goofy with stuff. I wanted to make a dead serious one. Okay, maybe not "dead" serious.
-
-
Oh my goodness! The word limit!!! *Does a happy not-restricted-to-a-paragraph dance*
-
it's too bad
Dang. My best work is about a flying mermaid but that falls into fantasy/sci fi. My second best work is Suicidal which I think you have read, I'm not too sure. Anyway, I love the contest, and the rules are great. Have fun and good luck. -
um, can you enter more than once?
If it like, says it somewhere in the rules, I'm sorry. I reread it a couple of times, so hopefully I won't have missed it saying so. -
-
Thanks for reminding me =)
I forgot to uncheck that little box.
& so, yes, you may enter more than once.
But as a reminder to everyone [not just you] please, don't enter stories I have already read & commented on!!!
-
-
...I wan't to write something for this...but...but.
Your date is screwy, Emily.
On the rules/page thingy it says...beguinning of Sept. and it says ends in one day and...
EMILYYYY!
FIX THAT!
Unless, you'd just like for me to make you a story. ^_^ To make you even more special-er...if thats possible.
^_^
-
-
Ahh!
Thanks Gaby for reminding me.
I need to extend the dates for both my contests. And enter, dearest, and I'll give you
Haha. Bribery [sp?]
-
-
Excuse me, but my story only has bad grammer points because it's part of the story (the solution is at the end of the page. You'll know what I"m talking about once you meet "Emerald's Journal".)
-
-
I don't mind about bad grammar that is deliberate so that it would fit into the purpose of the story or something. =)
-
-
haha
yay! you're gonna be tough to impress. which is a good thing, because it makes me push. i hope i can impress if you.
this is 100% sincere--i don't suck up. even if it sounds like it (= -
-
Having challenges or pushes are what make us excel and get through life =)
Don't worry about bad criticism, though. It's all going to be constructive * good...unless it was so horribly written that I stopped reading after the 3rd sentence, in which case I will say "I stopped reading after the __ sentence."
-
-
interesting contest. maybe I'll stop being a slug and not enter a prewrite for once
-
-
=D Yay
-
-
Ooh, this appears worthy of my coming up with a story not previously written! Way to go!
-
This may be the longest-running contest I've seen...
-
-
Haha. I agree with you. When I first made it, I was like..."I can read this before break ends" and then break ended and I didn't really read all of them. So I'm randomly picking a story to read at random times that are free. But it's not working out very well since it's still going and for every story I read, another story gets entered =/
-
-
Pssst... close the contest.
-
-
Well, that would mean that I'd have to rush to read all the entries, which is never really good....
I shall read them all one day. Some day.
-
-
-
-
wait, this things still running? damn, im waiting for it to just end lol
-
-
lmao.
I believe everyone is awaiting the day that this contest finally closes!
-
-
daaaaamn this is still going?
*pulls out sporks of death* -
Hey, congrats on closing your contest
and thank you for the honorable mention.
-
-
Thanks and you're welcome =) You deserved it
