Okay, this time I'm not going to tell you what to write. You could skip the rest of this typing if you want and just enter a completely random story. I don't care... BUT.. the chances of you winning would be very slim. Now, i'm going to tell you a few things which may very well heighten your chances of that gold trophy.
I like these names:
Aaron
Alex
Amber
Amy
Avery
Ben
Brittany
Cody
Cory
Courtney
Daniel
Delilah
Devin
Jimmy
Jordan

Mandy
Natalie
Quinten

The time period.
The weather.
What it looks like.
Where things are.
When describing an object remember:
Colour.
Importance.
Location.
Scent.
Texture.
When describing a person remember:
Actions.
Appearance.
Attributes.
Dialogue.
Family & Friends.
Feelings.
Hobbies.
Intelligeence.
Opinions.
Personality.
So that's it. That's all I'm going to say. If you wanted to know more about what I like, there are ways of doing that, but I can't mention them because I'd be promoting. Have fun with this though... there are no rules, no word count. Don't beat yourself up over trying to fit in all the above features either. Just take your time and do your best.
That's it.
Go.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 10, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 250, Silver: 150, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: I'm so sorry it took me so long to judge this. I actually got a job, and I've been working full time, but to get to the job I had to pretty much live at my grandmother's and she does'nt have a computer so... yeah, you get the picture.
Anyways, I've read all the stories and even if I didn't comment, I've found each story great in different ways. The three stories that I found great in the most ways though, are the three I chose to win. Congrats to everyone
-Kevan
P.S. Harry Potter fans, I'm starting a fan fiction contest shortly for Harry Potter with quite a few points up for grabs (no prewrites though, sorry)
- To judge this contest, you need to have at least as many finalists as you have rewards. You have 4 awards but only 3 finalists.

PICKY PICKY PICKY! I think you're the first person who actually tells someone what to write. I usually prefer the contests where you can cut the leash on your imagination. But hey, my hat is off to you, you know what you want and you ain't to afraid to ask for it!
