Okay, this contest isn't really a contest. I will choose a winner however, I have a brilliant idea.
Twice each year, the creative talents of _______ _______ students are celebrated with the publication of “Ka Wai Ola: The Water of Life.” Produced entirely by a volunteer group of students, under the guidance of _____ ________, “Ka Wai Ola” gathers poetry, prose, photographs, and paintings into a simple, elegant volume. With the 58th issue about to be released, it seems quite fitting that this rich, moving publication should receive recognition from the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE).
This is what we're aiming for. 10 Poems. 10 Prose. And if you'd like to do art, add a link to the bottom of your story. We need 5 art pieces. I plan to publish your works into a StoryWrite compilation book. I still have not found a name for it yet, however, if you have a good one, I'll use it. The best one will be rewarded Gold and 100 points. The Gold winner will also be featured first in their category (Whatever category suits their story [poem, prose, art]).
