Well hello there everybody! 
In this contest, there will be three rounds.....
I am only accepting 10 entries, so if you DEFINATELY want to enter, then reserve a spot. But please make sure you do enter if you do this, otherwise you are taking up somebody else's place!
In this first round, I want you to set a simple scene. Just ONE location, well described.... and the main thing... introduce your MAIN character! I want a great characterisation here people, make them real, make them easy to relate to, make them interesting!
Can be anything between 200 and 1000 words.
Any genre is fine, just label adult content appropriately.
All rounds will have a trophy winner, for the writer who has done the best in that section. The final round will have the grand prize, when we put together all the pieces and see who has written the best overall story! The final prize will be..... 1000 points!
There will also be a twist in the last round.... but you will have to wait and see what that is!!! lol

- Final notes: I really am amazed at the quality of entries in this contest!!! You guys all did wonderfully, and reading each one was a real pleasure. My winner was picked because of the delictae and wonderful setting description, and the sympathetic writing of the main character. It did all this round asked for, and did it gracefully and beautfully.

Walking through the swamplands can be very tricky. There are water moccasins, alligators, and numerous insects both seen and unseen that could really put a hurting on you. / Stanley Cordbridge was keenly aware of all• Commented on by judge.

Wonderful!
Simply go to enter 'new story' and just write 'reserved' or something in the title and content. This is just so as the entry limit can be reached with everybody entered who wants to be! You can go back and 'edit' the story to actually write it when you are ready!

just click 'enter new story' and write the title as 'reserved' and the same in content! that will make you show up on the entries, so the entry limit can fill up and you will keep your place. You can go back and edit your story once you have written it, but just popping in 'reserve' makes sure you get a place!

Of course you can! Great to have you on board!
Just submit an entry of 'reserve' to make sure you get a place, as there are only 2 left at the moment. Then you can come back and edit the entry to add your actual story before the closing date. You only need to write a small piece, introducing your main character, and setting the main scene for them

Ah, it was set up so it read 'closes at 10 entries or july 5th'.... we got 10 entries before the 5th, so it closed when the tenth entered! Sorry! Hope you can still enter!
