I've tried to decide what kind of contest I want that will draw decent writers to me in mass. I thought up three different contests. But, since I couldn't decide which of the three to do, I decided I'd do all three of them in an options-esque contest.
So, below are the three options and specifications. And the rules. Please read and follow the rules. The rules are solid. Stories WILL be removed if they do not follow the rules.
Yes, I'm aware that there is currently only one trophy. But there will be more as I gain enough points to make the next one worth 500. It will have 3 trophies: Gold for 1,000; silver for 500; and bronze for 250. It may take some time to get that, so just bear with me. Also, where or not there are more trophies and points added depends upon how many people enter.
Also, please be aware that I want stories for each option, not all just for one. So let's have a bit of variety (thus the whole "options" thing).
Option 1: Erotica
I want a good, bold, and enticingly erotic story. If I'm not horny after I read it, you didn't do your job.
1) Please refrain from using age-old cliches throughout the story. Do not make these not-so-subtle insinuations to sexual acts or body parts. It is just annoying.
2) Hard sex. Period.
3) Enticing storyline, well-defined characters, and decent use of English grammar. Spelling and structure are also important.
4) Do not use terms like "fucked her/him senseless" or "pussy" or "dick." Vulgarity is allowed only in dialogue, not in the details of the sexual encounter.
5) Details, details, details. Show me everything, go indepth of each movement, of each motion. Make it real.
6) Minimum entry length is NO LESS THAN 1,000 words. This is the leniancy coverage. Anything less will be disqualified.
7) Maximum entry length is NO MORE THAN 5,000 words. Same as above.
Option 2: Horror
Good, messy, scary fun!!
1) Bloody hell!!! No, seriously, bloody the place up.
2) Vulgarity is permitted in limited quantities. Please make the story about the gruesome horror, not the character's naughty tongue.
3) I want a good, well developed storyline and characters. Make it as believable as possible.
4) Minimum entry length is NO LESS THAN 1,000 words.
5) Maximum entry length is NO MORE THAN 6,000 words.
Option 3: Psychological Thriller
The greatest minds are insane, the most insane minds are fun to write about.
1) Make it a deep, detailed, and scientifically correct story. Which means you may want to do a bit of studying of the psychological trait you intend to write about.
2) Make it easy to follow, not weighted down by technical terms and confusing structure and dialogue.
3) Minimum entry length is NO LESS THAN 1,500 words.
4) Maximum entry length is NO MORE THAN 7,000 words.
Ok, there are the rules, so get cracking.
DQed stories: 2 Reasons: Too short(1), not paying attention to the rules & reacting in a negative manner to critism (1).

I could enter one, for option one, however I'm hesitant. I've had a run of serious bad luck lately. "Good read, but not for this contest," seems to be the standard response I get. Aside from that, it may actually end up exceeding the maximum limit on words. I don't know. Not had much encouragement lately. This is tempting though. Good luck with your contest.
