Hello and welcome to my contest.
First, I will briefly introduce you to the whole idead. This contest (the first one in my up coming series) is going to be about... animals.

***Here are your options:***
1. Write from the point of view of an animal. Here I will be looking for originality. It can be ANY animal. I have a certain animal in mind and the one who is going to write about that is gonna get six applause from me ;)
2. Create an animal and write a story including it as one of the main characters. Discribe it, give it a name. Now here, it has to be ORIGINAL. No combinations of cat and dog or human and horse. I want a new animal to be born to this world.
3. Write a story in which an animal saves someone's life or, on the contrary, kills someone. On purpose? Unwillingly? I don't care as long as it makes clear sense.
4. Write a story about a battle between two animals. It can be because of anything: food, love... anything.
NOTE: It can be anything. ie. fantasy, dark, love, sad, erotica, humor, weird... whatever pleases you as long as it matches the options.

**Now to the rules**
1. Only stories. No poems.
2. The stories should not exceed 2000 words and don't argue about that. I already gave a lot of words. A good writer can put a whole story in 200 words.
3. You have to put the option number in the author notes. I am very serious about that, trust me.

Okay, this contest is gonna end on the 22nd of June so you have a lot of time to create a creature and all... I have thought about it and decided to save my points for the next contest.
Have fun. Have fun. Have fun.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on June 27, 2007
- Rewards: Gold: 200, Silver: 100, Bronze: 60
- Final notes: Okay guys, thank you all for the entries. It was sad to see all the stories as "Prewrites" but... uh... that's okay.
So...
"Keys to Death" got the first place because I was amazed by the whole story...
"Harvennaslair" was second because it was nothing like anything I read before and I liked the mercury idea
"Nature's Law Part II" was third because.... well... I liked it.
Thanks for entering. I'm sorry for taking sooo long to judge this contest.

Well some wierdos will be writing in that category you know. Some people might even write about an animal's suicide because of family problems...
I just wanted to make my point as clear aas possible - the categories are up to the writer.
