ILLUMINATE THE HUMAN CONDITION

'Tis time this heart should be unmoved,
Since others it hath ceased to move:
Yet, though I cannot be beloved,
Still let me love!' (On this day I complete my thirty sixth year, by George 'Lord' Byron 22-01- 1824).

This contest is about quality writing, poetry, prose, fiction, whatever. Just try to write from the heart, and sprinkle some sugar here and there.
I'll read (and comment) on all entries, but here's a list of what I DO NOT like.

-Abuse stories (Child called It style stuff about how Daddy abused me etc).
-Cutting stories (Yes I can identify, but it's getting a bit silly on Sw now).
-Twilight rip offs (sorry, but it just shows a lack of imagination).

I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of entries I get. Best of luck, get writing.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 4
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 150, Bronze: 75, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
Thanks to everybody that entered my contest. It was a tremendous privilege to read your stories. I had a terrible time separating the first three, as they all deserved the Gold award. Thanks again, Rorshach.
