My name is Arcos. The Allmighty and I have need of you. In my land of Valmera, there is a horrible cataclysm that is quickly spreading. A large door, dubbed the Demon's Gates, has opened, and forces of evil are pouring upon the land, preying upon innocents.
We have the power to transport you to my land, should you be willing to fight. And if the feeling of knowing that you helped to save a whole world isn't enough for you, we have prepared a monetary reward. Be sure that it is substantial.
I myself do not know much about the Demon's Gates. I know that I will need to use my power in order to get us through the gates. I can accompany you, but I will not be able to help you fight whatever comes. Also, as we delve deeper, the power required to keep us alive inside the Demon's realm will be more than I have. The weaker of you will need to stay back with me, so that I can use your power. It will not hurt in any way, but you too will be unable to fight.
Before you agree, you must answer the following questions about yourself. It may seem trivial to you now, but in time you will see that this portion is vital to our success. So please answer clearly and legibly.

Okay, I will admit that this contest was totally 'inspired' by your own series. However, even though the format may be the same, (survey, people will be eliminated,) the focus of the contest and other elements will be very different. I promise.

Don't pay attention to him. The point (or my point) of introducing the tournament contest to StoryWrite was to see more of them spring up, to see more community involvement. Glad to see that happening!
