Order of the Thorn- Group Contest #1

This is a contest in which I ask you to create a story that incorporates the following things (pick at least 3, please!):

Darkness
Fire
Children
Prophecy
Hope
Tragedy
The sun
 Heaven
Hell
Tatarus
Greece
The Orient
Ancient Egyptian lore
A golden ring
Death
Blood
Retribution
Revelations
Happiness
Eternal life
Angels
Assassins
Leaders
Love
Life

The rules are simple:
  •   Good writing and excellent SPaG
  •   At least 1,500 words minimum
  •   Any genre allowed
  •   Make the items you chose apparent in your writing (For the more "deep" items, just make it discernible. )

    Dang it I wrote something that would have fit perfectly for this group contest- used 5 of the words up top but I added the story last night without thinking to come here to the contest page (honestly, I just forgot to check my bookmarks first to see if I had anything that it'd fit first).

    Ah well I'll see if I can shoot something else out and this time I'll be sure to remember to post from the contest page. lol.
