Literary Passion Group Contest #4

Pick a Fantasy Creature!
(This contest is for Literary Passion group members only).


Pick any Fantasy Creature from any story and weave a story of how it would interact with the modern world. You have to have the creatures interact with humans in some way... what that way is I will leave up to you.

You can have the creature be a loner or part of a group. You could also have them be a part of a civilization (Remember, they have to interact with humans)

Also, it can be any genre (though erotica is pushing it, make it tasteful) I do enjoy comedy, action, and drama.

Make it appropriate. If it has horror, label it horror. (You get the idea...)

Try to make it in between 500-2000 words, though I may not mind if it's over, as long as it's entertaining.

No Fanfic! I want this to be original.

    I have to say that this was an interesting contest. Unforunately, there wasn't one story that encompassed the depth of what I was looking for, but c'est la vie.

    I have to say that you guys made me laugh and think about how the fantastical creatures of the stories would interact with us.

    Nice contest, but please remember that there are more than 20 members in the group and I don't think it would be fair if 20 members entered and more wanted to enter as well... so keep an eye out. If it starts to become full, and a group member requests to put in an entry, please allow them to do so.

    I will still read some of the entries when I can on my own time. The only reason I didn't start a contest was because I didn't want to be rushed in reading entries while adjusting to medication.

      fairies, elves, mermaids, angels, centaurs, dragons...

      just to name a few. I think this is what he's going after anyway for the contest. as long as they live among humans.

      Dear therenaissancegirl,

      Yes, Lady Pixie is correct, but for all of those people who have read a fantasy story currently (not saying that you havent renaissancegirl, if you have a new creature that I haven't heard about... that would be acceptable.
