A creature only you could imagine!

Hello, everyone!

I've been on SW for a little while now and I've decided to make my first contest.

The classic vampire/werewolf/witch/etc. story may be fun to play around with, but lately I've found these to be a bit(yawn) boring. Have you ever thought of creating your own magical/mythological/imaginary creature? Well, this is the contest for you! I would like stories including creatures born of your own imagination. I don't care if it's humanoid, bestial, magical, or evil. I don't care what genre you use(although, my favorite genre is romance/love and it would be exceptionally wonderful if you included even a hint of a "love thang" in your story.) Pre-writes are fine. Do whatever you want(seriously), just be as creative as you can!

Rules
1.Please try to use your best grammar/spelling skills. It's important to me and if it's not written well in that sense, then you won't win.
2.Any genre. Adult content accepted.
3.No poems, just stories.
4.Nothing too long.(I'm in college;I don't have time to sit and read a whole novel online)I'll set the limit at 5,000 words; but if you have more than that and you think it's especially amazing, by all means, enter.
5.Absolutely no vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, fairies, chupacabras, etc. You can use elements from these creatures but try to be creative. That's the point!

Ok, that's all. Have fun!

P.S. I promise to leave a comment on every story but only after the contest is over.
