Okay everybody, to those who don't know me, let me tell you that I have a special feeling for horror and fantasy stories. And here on StoryWrite, there's plenty of both.
However, I find that many of the stories written are pretty long, and sometimes I find myself wanting for a good but short story to read, especially when I have little time on my hands.
So, here's a chance to all of you to demonstrate your writing prowess, and exemplify your horror skills to the rest. Let your stories be short, yet with enough emotion and good description to make me cower in my bed.
Submit your best short horror stories, and be recognised as the best!
Rules:
- No WrItInG LiKe ThIs. Please, people, grow up. If you intend to be a writer, you seriously need to kick this habit out before it kicks YOU out of writing.
- Your story has to have some element of horror. It does not need to have monsters or crazy killers on the loose. Anything at all that would scare the lights out of my eyes. You know what this means, right? No kiddy stories, no lovey-doveys kissing etc. You want to include sex, murder, mutilation or anything else, it's fine.
- Edit your work before submitting. It's okay if you have a few errors here and there, but if you're story's made up of nothing but errors...
- Those with original ideas will have a higher chance of winning.
- WORD LIMIT: 2500 WORDS OR BELOW.
- Apart from that, nothing else.
So, c'mon fellas, show me what you've got.
