Well, summer's nearly over and the threat of school is looming over our heads again... 
So to cheer myself up, I decided to host a romance contest. There's nothing that cheers me up more than reading a really awesome romance story, so here's your chance to impress me.
Normally, I'd open the contest to prewrites, but this time I want something fresh. OK, now for the rules.
RULES:
1) No bashing of any kind.
2) No adult content or erotica - I'm too young to read it.
3) Keep it between 500-2000 words.
4) No chat speak.
5) Please don't molest the shift key.
6) Proper grammar and spelling.
7) No poems allowed.
There are a few things that will earn you major brownie points with me. Here they are, just in case you wanna work with them!
BROWNIE POINTS:
1) Gay romance between teenagers. [MAJOR BPs IF YOU DO IT RIGHT!]
2) Love-hate relationships.
3) Angels.
4) A bad boy.
5) A shy girl.
6) If you find a way to incorporate lollipops into your story.
7) Shapeshifters [right now I'm working on a story/novel called Shifters, which is about shapeshifters as you probably guessed. So shapeshifter romance will earn you big points - as long as it's not just werewolves.]
Plus if you want to comment on Shifters or Running With Scissors, that'll earn you some extra points too

I am a big fan of gay romance. I have written a few gay stories as well, but none of them are between teens. So lets see. maybe I'll write something new. As it is I itching to write something..!

Just a word of advice: you'd get a lot more entries if you opened it to prewrites. People tend to dislike writing something new if they already have something that fits the contest requirements...
