Hi guys! You may be wondering by now what your task will be since this is a males only contest(the first I am assuming in all of Storywriteville).
Well here is your task, you- the males- have to write me a story in the genre of romance. It can be supernatural romance, horror romance, thriller romance, mystery romance. romantic comedy, fantasy romance, etc etc
ONCE IT IS ROMANCE!!! except erotica- see rules below
So don't try writing a fantasy story and throw in a bit of kissing and think that will cut it.
So are you up to the challenge? Can you prove your writing word guys by doing this task?
Great!
Rules:
The usual grammar, spelling, punctuation, WrItInG rules.
No extreme profanity.
No erotica. That seems like such the typical male attempt at romantic fiction.
And no God bashing except for characterization.
Have fun! Don't be afraid to call on the help of gfs, wives, friends, cousins, sisters, or ever dear old mom.
So are you that good a writer? Are you up to the challenge?

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on September 27
- Rewards: Gold: 250, Silver: 150, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: Guys, you have done me and this contest proud. I was not expecting the amount of entries that I got. I was not expecting the richness of writing that I got either. But ya'll did some really good work. Of course I did tell some of ya'll that maybe your stories were more of another genre or theme than romance but you tried and that is most important thing here. Unfortunately I can not award everyone, so I'm sorry about that.
On that note I must also apologize for taking so long but I wanted to comment on everyone's entry and in the middle of that I came down with swine flu and am still fighting it.
Thank you for entering this contest and making it a pleasure to hold.
Continue writing each and every one of you and God bless ya'll with your writing.
Raeyle
