Once again, i'm holding a Novels contest. My contest become full after a few hours so i will open this contest for 50 entries; Taking that into consideration, i MIGHT not always leave a long comment on the stuff that is entered.
If you've seen this contest before, or entered it.. then you know what it's about. basically, here in this contest, any type of writer of a NOVEL only can enter. But this time i'll have more rules then last time... Just to make it a little easier for me to judge.

- Enter Only chapter 1, if i'm interested in more i'll ask for a link to next chapter.
- If it's a prologue to a novel you're about to start, feel free to enter.
- If a chapter is longer than what a regular chapter normally is, i will not continue reading. *Please take in mind that my contest fill up really fast, and i have a lot to judge*

I'm curious to know what your definition of a chapter being longer than it should be is?
Its always been taught to me that there is not a defined length for a chapter and that it is solely on what the writer feels is a proper length.
I plan to enter this... but I would be pretty upset if I entered something you felt was 'too long' for a chapter and didn't read and that is why I'm curious as to your thoughts on length. -

It's been the same thing for me, i've read that as well. Sometimes people have entered a chapter that has not exaggerating a little over 5,000 words and that's what i don't really have time for taking in the fact that since this is a novels contest i'll have a lot of reading to do. But feel free to enter, i'm pretty sure it wont go to the extremes of being thousands and thousands of words.
