Write me a story inspired by this quote.
"The Phoenix will rise from the ashes.... but first, it must die."
You can use it in the story if you wish but i don't want a story about something completely different and the quote added in, making no sense whatsoever!
This will the only rule you'll be following accept one more.... No actual Mythical Phoenix in the story! I don't mind reading a mythical or fantasy story but I don't want a actual phoenix to make an entry into it at any point.
So, it's pretty straight forward. I will allow pre-written stories. I impose no word limit but be warned, I will read a 500000 words story if it interests me and I will not read a 500 word story if it bores me.
