This will be my first contest so lets just jump right into this.
The idea here is I want post apocalyptic stories or poems. That's what I've been writing and I'd like to see what you out there can come up with.
You can go whatever route you want with this, as long as its set in a world where society has fallen to ruins. It can take place on planet mars as long as society is in the shitter.
Now that seems simple enough.
I don't care for rules so I won't limit you really anything I'll just lay down some flexible guidelines, if you happen to break them I don't really care.
I'd prefer you don't give me novel length stories here, but if you happen to break 5000 words I will get to reading it, eventually.
I don't distinguish between pre-writes and original stories, if you have something that fits, go ahead and throw it to me.
I'm not banning erotica as long as it some how fits into the end of the world. I'm not a fan though so I might not fall head over heels in love with your erotic tales of the wasteland.
I plan on rewarding originality. If your piece happens to be fan fiction that's fine, but I will enjoy original works more.
That's really all there is to it. Get to work and have fun.

hey gang,
first of all I want to thank you all for your entries.
Secondly I want to apologize its going to take a little bit for the judging.
On Saturday I suffered 2 episodes that were like mini strokes. I expect to make a full recovery but my eyesight has suffered from it as well as the strength and coordination in my left arm. So bear with me and I promise I'll try and get this done in a timely manner.
Thank you -

Bit of an update my eyesight has recovered enough so I can read my computer monitor which was my biggest hurdle with getting this thing judged. And I'm getting back my left arm a bit more day by day. So hopefully I'll get started on this tomorrow.
Thank you all for you entries I'm looking forward to reading all of them.
