Lions and tigers and bears... oh my!

Write a story about one of these animals... but... it is not to be Were-bear/tiger/lion, or anything like that. The animals cannot talk, they are not mystical, magical, nor do they have powers. (The time period, however, can be past, present, future... but must be on Earth.)
'Show' the story with minimal dialogue. There can be dialogue if there are human characters, but I want the story to center around the animal.
You don't have to describe the image given... they're here for reference only. The story can be about a lion or a tiger or a bear (or all three), in any aspect of their lives.
Please watch your spelling (yes, it does count)
No chapters. I want complete stories only.
Word count over 300, yet under 5,000.(according to the site's word count)
Easy to read font and background combination, please.
One entry per person, no prewrites.
Please label categories properly.

since it is mainly about a jaguar, it wouldn't have been accepted anyway
but, you've written about an animal before, so it should be a piece piece of cake for you since you know how to create in that area

Question!! Does the bear have to be a grizzly bear or can it be another breed?

any bear... If it's on this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bears , then you're good (as long as it's not fan fiction... like, teddy bear, Winnie the Pooh, etc)

Something to consider no doubt about that, I've already done a story on a tiger so I guess, I will choose either a lion or a the bears. I will reseacrh both and choose one and see what I can come up with, animal stories are the best and I never 'were' mine.
