Something Supernatural

I want to read something thats good enough to inspire me to write again, since Im in a kind of writing slump right now.

I want you to write something Supernatural. Something dark, suspenseful, unxplainable and maybe even has a hint of romance in it; though it doesnt have to.

I DONT want:
-Anything with vampires
-Anything fan-fiction
-Anything too unoriginal (if I feel like Ive read ideas from your story somewhere else, Its not going to make it to the finalist list)

*If you add a touch of romance in it, please dont make it boring, cheesy, 12 yr old romance- or anything in the style of twilight. I want the real deal. If youve never been in love or a real relationship, please dont attempt a romancey supernatural story.*

Make it worth a chunk of my day.

BONUS:
Anyone who gets a gold, silver or bronze trophy, will be added to my favorites, and I will make them a constant read.

  • you know, love is just how they described in a book I read. It's kind of surprising actually. Most book romance is... too good to be true, you know? But anyhoo, I think I might enter if my muse ever comes back to me.

  • does the story have to be finished?

First, if I may ask, why no vampires? And second, how do you feel about fallen angels?

    • Well, I ask for no vampires because theyre everywhere now. Twilight this Twilight that, Twilight Twilight. I myself liked Twilight when nobody cared yet, and now its just too much. Its sickening. A lot of people portray vampires in a sickening way, sort of like twilight. Even I have done that. I dont want to get a really well written story with a sucky version of a vampire. I just dont want to be disappointed. Fallen angels sound interesting. I think I might really like that one. =)

  • If one might inquire- how long would you like the entry to be, and would you prefer a complete, self-sufficient story? Or, as with anything worth reading, would you like it to leave you wanting to turn the page? I do believe my muse has just the story in her arsenal....

    • I'd prefer a story that isn't so long that It'll take days to finish reading, because there are a lot of other entries I need to get to, and I dont want the contest to go on forever. But if the story is worth reading, I won't mind as much. If you want to enter a complete story, with chapters and such, and the chapters aren't that extreme novels themselves, then that might be manageable. Just ask yourself, is this good enough for a judge to sit there and read, along with 19 more entries?

  • what if i have a story borken up into parts but i want to subbmit the whole thing would i put it under new story?

    • You could add one part to the contest, with a link to the rest and Ill read the rest separate and still count it.
Or try to paste all the parts together.
