The Literature Hunt
I will be hosting a set of contests on my hunt to find Literature on Storywrite.com. Each contest has big points and big challenges. This Hunt will challenge writers to create stories that speak out with a message and a powerful moral.
Part I: Controversy and Drama
I want stories on controversial issues. Please, I said stories not rants or essays. I do not want to you to protray your biased opinion through a story, I want you to show and reflect upon something using creative point of views. Show the impact of an issue: let the reader decide what is write.
We are not preachers: we are writers.
Be subtle with this. Do not give me something trivial and expectant. I want surprises. I want brilliance. I want ingenuity to shine.
Incorporate drama into your piece. I want emotion. Real life, gut-wrenching emotion.
For this contest, I want you to enter stories based on the following issues:
Kashmir Conflict
Iraq War
Homosexuality
Palestinian Conflict
Child/Animal Abuse
God and Religion
Weapons
Nuclear Warfare
I would love to see something real. I want you to research, understand the problem before writing. Incorporate anything you want. Make good!

Wow... I'm really interested on writing something for this contest. I'll see what I can conjure up

Mr. Asfand
I could probably make up the additional 400 words you require...by merely attempting to explain the disparate elements and conflict in this brief tale (The Gift)...and in a clarifying attempt to expose and decipher the theme. But this would detract from some of the "fun" of it...and besides, I KNOW... YOU...are quite capable of handling this enlightening business yourself. Just know there IS more in here than meets the eye. I hope you enjoy and profit by the little story.
