Almost Anything Goes double entry

Hey Everyone,

My last contest that I did this way was really popular, so I'll do it once again.

1) Enter two of your stories, anything goes except errotica, or same sex romance.

2) I don't want to read anything "R" rated, but anything PG-13 or less is okay.

3) Put your username in your notes.

I don't care how long it is, but if it's over 1500 words I probably won't read it all, unless it's really good. Anything can enter though...even novels. Just because I don't read every word, doesn't mean it won't place. It really depends on how many entries I've got. No matter what though, I will give you encouragement, and constructive critisism ---EVERY STORY HAS ROOM FOR IMPROOVEMENT!!!

Oh yeah, one last thing...I encourage everyone to read and comment on at least three other stories. They can be other entries, or stories I've written. Please mention things you like, and at least one thing that can be improoved on. Before trophies are assigned I will query the placers on what they commented on so I can double check.

If you are going to comment on one of mine, please comment on either, Night Trial, or Forced Perspective. Those are stories I'm preparing for submission. Don't just give me good comments because I'm the judge though I promise it won't affect my decision in the least.

Good luck!

I entered two, one relatively short and one long one. I do feel the longer one is the better of the two works. Thanks

Of course I'll give it a chance! I give them all a chance! And trust me, this isn't personal at all, it's just all about getting feedback so that we can improove our stuff. Feedback, positive or negative is the best thing for all of us as writers. In fact, when someone tells me I'm doing something wrong I improove much more than if someone just says...good job, loved it!

I just recently threw my work up in front of some published writers and got the smack down. But I was happy about it, because now I'm looking at my stuff in a totally new angle, and my stories will have a much better chance of getting accpeted when I submit them.

I beleive everyone who wants to observe the world around them, and put those observations down whether in Fiction or Nonfiction is awesome! We are all at different levels, and so I hope no one thinks when I give long cretiques that I didn't like the story. Alot of times when I take the time to give a long cretique, or point something out it means, I really liked it.

      Please don't misunderstand.

      • lol. i didnt misunderstand. i started 2 write that comment cuz u said under 1500 words or something, and u said u might not read it all if it was longer. thats what i was talking about, but then i saw u commented it already, so i was going to erase that comment. lol. but thx. not many ppl care about reading stories just cuz there long, so i always ask them 2 giv it a chance. but thx 4 the advice and 4 reading it. i appreciate it!

  • why does no one allow same sex romance???

  • cool. thanks for the trophy!

  • Wow, thank you ever so much for the gold! I know there was some stiff competition in this contest too. That's great!
