I want you to write me a story. A disturbing, possibly morbid story about going insane. It can include whatever you want; suicide, homicide, writing on the walls, whatever you believe to be a disturbing and creative way to finally snap. The person who writes the story that catches my eye the most wins. Be creative and use correct grammar and spelling. Also, due to personal preferences, the topic of molestation cannot be used.

- Final notes: Well it was a tough decision between Counting Down and The Present. I love the theme for Counting Down, but The Present is what really caught me, because I feel as though I can relate, and that is what scares me the most. Horror in a general idea is boring, and thats what I want to get across. Blood, gore, violence and terror in that idea is nothing compared to the feeling that story gave me, which may not have been intentional, since it was on a personal level. One day I know Ill be in those same shoes, looking over this house once its abandoned, with those same feelings. I wont bother explaining the entire reason why The Present won, theres no point in doing so. All you need to know is that there are worse things than being slashed and beaten.

Merci. Ive already gotten four entries. A shame one is extremely short and one didn't follow the rules. Even if she had, she rarely capitalized anything so she was doomed to fail anyway. I haven't gotten one I like too much yet, but someone entered one extremely long one. I haven't read it yet, since the title says Unfinished. Im waiting for a reply to see if theyre going on with it or not. I hope to get a really good one. Hopefully you join, too.

Actually I despise any form of erotica, sorry. Which is why erotic stories probably wont fare well in this contest, but Ill try not to discriminate. I just find it hard to read.
