Quotes Needed Please!

Hello Everyone,

We are looking for some new quotes to put on the front page.

Right now we'd love some winter/holiday story related quotes.

You can use your own quote or you can use someone elses. If you use someone elses quote please make sure that it's ok with the tou of that website and give FULL credit to that person...like Emily Dickinson quotes etc.

If we use a quote that you put here you'll get 20 points as a thank you.

If we use a quote that YOU wrote yourself You'll get 30 points as a thank you.

If you don't know the author please don't use it. Try and make sure your current author is correct on the quote. We will be double checking incase.

All quotes must be G rated and within site rules.

This column will not close. Keep in mind that whatever season we are in more than likely will be what kind of quotes we'd like to put up.

We look forward to seeing your quotes!

    From Desiderata by Max Ehrmann

    "...Beyond a wholesome discipline,
    be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
    no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be..."

"Look round and round upon this bare bleak plain, and see even here, upon a winter's day, how beautiful the shadows are! Alas! it is the nature of their kind to be so. The loveliest things in life, Tom, are but shadows; and they come and go, and change and fade away, as rapidly as these!"
