1.Where did you grow up?
Well, I've always been here in Oregon, I was born in Salem and lived in a smaller town on the coast. I now live in the beautiful Willamette Valley.
2.What is the first thing you remember that perked your interest in writing?
I had a crazy dream once and my mom told me I should write it down. I had an Imac then and had such fun writing down the dream; I think a little improv made it's way in. I ended up writing a whole little story from it, ( Terrible mind you ) but still a story.
3.Did you go to college/university?
I am attending college this coming fall.
4.If so, what was your major?
I will be going for Riding Instructing, the perfect job which will also allow me to write on my novels.
5.Outside of college, how have you educated yourself beyond secondary school?
I've taught myself a whole lot about training horses, running a small business and drawing manga comics.
6.How's the weather?
The weather here in Oregon is quite rainy, always has been. Right now it's actually pretty sunny.

Info about your Writing :
1.When did you first begin to write?
If you want a date it was probably about- 1999
2.What kind of stories do you prefer to write?
I prefer to write Fantasy/ Japanese Fables or the like, but I do delve and challenge myself with other genres.
3.Fiction or non-fiction?
I will read Fiction, but I find myself not very good at writing Fiction.
4.Have you published anything?
I'm having my book published this summer.
5.When are you most likely to have a great writing idea?
At about 12:00 AM, sometimes if I see a picture or have a dream.
6.What is your reaction when the muse visits? Drop everything and write it down or tuck it away in memory and write it later?
Write it immediately, if I can't write it I say the first few lines and record the plot of the story on my phone. I then listen to it later. ha ha.
7.Do you consider yourself a spontaneous writer or do you tend to plan things out in advance?
I'm spontaneous, so, so, so spontaneous. I just put my fingers to the keyboard and write.
8.How does reading other authors affect your writing skills?
I notice how they've laced their sentences, how they manage to say four things in one complete sentence. I notice details, and I learn too from excellent authors.
9.When you sit down to write something is it fun or work?
Writing my novel is work and fun, I love to write and for me it's like stepping into a dream, a place you can never really leave behind but is always there whether you know it or not.
10.How do you get past writers block?
By writing something else, if I'm stuck on a spot I try and think about what needs to happen. I always draw myself a guide before I ever begin to write. This guide reminds me of what is supposed to happen in my story/novel. If I ever get writers block I can always work on my guide for the story.
11.What feeds your desire to continue writing?
Knowing that when someone else reads my stories they too are transported to a different place. Maybe the reader is sad, or unhappy and when they read my story perhaps it perks them up, even just a little bit.
12.Who are your influences?
I'm not really sure, I am definitely influenced by the Medieval Times, and Japanese History. As for Authors who influence me I can't say I know.
13.How do you know when your story is finished?
Truthfully, when I'm happy with it. Essentially when the deed is done in the story I create the ending. Am I going to write a sequel from this? Is this just a novel? These are the questions which let me know if my story is finished. Sometimes you're never really sure, that's when I ask my mom to read my writing. Moms know best!
General things about you
1.Hobbies?
Writing, Singing, Music and Horseback Riding.
2.Pets?
Four cats, four horses and two dogs. : )
3.Talents?
Singing, I'd say Writing is a talent too, one that I have had to perfect. Of course with the help of several people here on SW, I've always gotten great advice.
4.Jobs?
At the moment I'm a stablehand, it allows me the most time to write.
5.What advice would you give to growing writers?
To never give up. I always tell people, in this world there are many personalties and some just don't like certain things. If you're patient, work hard and have confidence in yourself you'll notice the people who are like you, or similar to you and enjoy your writing and you for you.
So, never give up!
