All About Her :

I grew up in California.

Hmm.. What perked my interest in writing.. Singing, I guess and a good imagination. But I started out writing songs. Then it was converted to poetry. Then I wrote fanfictions. And now I am here.

I haven't made it to college yet but I plan to. I'm going to major in psychology and creative writing.

My favorite color? I can't pick just one. Purple, black, and red.

My favorite foods? Fried rice and salmon, I guess.

Pastime? Is that really even a question? Writing! Not only writing though. I like to take pictures and play video games.

Things she likes and doesn't like :

Evanescence is my favorite band, followed closely by Flyleaf. As far as types of music go, I listen to Christian rock, rock, pop, a little bit of metal, and country.

I don't have a favorite poet.

My favorite T.V. shows would have to be Grey's Anatomy and Naruto, but I don't watch television very much.

I favorite movies are The Ring and The Faculty.

My favorite book.. I really like Koji Suzuki's trilogy consisting of the books "Ring", "Spiral", and "Loop".

History On StoryWrite

I was registered on fanfiction.net and one day I received an email from a friend of mine basically saying, "Hey, I found a really great writing site, you should come check it out." But sadly, I can no longer find her.

I have been a member of storywrite since May 28th of 2007.

I don't remember when I first started writing. I'm thinking maybe five years ago, but I know that it's what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I write horror for the most part. But I have written happy stories. Most of my work involves death and killing.

Honestly, I'm not sure of where the horror comes from. Possibly from having my heart broken so many times. I have written some spiritual stories, my faith is my influence there. Sometimes I get inspired by songs or things that someone has said.

It feels so good to be applauded and it feels even better to know that even though some people many not like my work, I do and that is all that matters.

I enjoy writing, reading, singing, taking pictures, and helping my friends with their problems.

Other fun details and facts :

I have a black and white chihuahua-terrier named Lilly.

My jobs? Well, in the way of money, I am a tutor at my high school during homework center. But I also have a job of taking care of my friends and being a good sister to them.

Her Advice To All :

No matter what anyone says about your work, don't give up. It is not their opinion that matters, it is your own.

The Mysterious Blind Man

Gathering around the television, we were all about to watch the scene. It was the equestrian races. I had been in them the day before. But I could not remember what had happened. My family had not really seen what had happened. The only thing they had seen was my horse and I toppling over. No one was sure of the incident in complete.

My father said that the horse had tripped over a hurdle. My brother said that I had kicked the horse furiously until he collapsed. My mother wasn’t sure at all. And I myself had blacked out and I didn’t even remember leaving the house.

But soon the news was said the air the incident. “The runner known as Mem was not pushing her horse too hard, as some thought, but actually,” the anchor spoke as the clip of the scene was played in slow motion. “You can see here that a dog somehow found its way into the ring and ran straight for the horse.”

“Honey!” my brother cried, staring intently at the screen.

“Honey?” I asked.

“You know that dog?” By now, my mother’s eyes, too, had turned to my brother.

My father shushed us. “Question him later. Listen now.”

The anchor went on, “Mem’s horse only saw the golden retriever until it was too late. The horse trampled the dog and toppled to the ground as well.” I heard my brother gasp. “We have not yet found the owner of the dog and we have not the word on whether either animal is all right. The girl, however, is due for bed rest, but it is said that she will recover just fine.”

When the news anchor went on to talk about other affairs, my mother clicked off the TV and turned to face her son. “What’s this about the dog?”

“Her name is Honey. She belongs to Mr. Sullivan.”

“Who is Mr. Sullivan?” I asked him.

“He’s a blind old man I met at the races. He asked me to watch his dog for him.”

I balled my fist. “So it’s your fault that the dog got lose?”

“Mem,” my mother put a hand on my shoulder. “Calm down.”

“Are you sure that this Mr. Sullivan was really blind?” asked my father.

“Yes, he is.” My brother nodded.

“How can you be sure? How did he know you were there?”

“He could hear me. I was dragging my feet in the dust. And that’s when he asked me to watch his dog. I said, ‘Sure, Mister.’ He asked me to call him Sullivan.”

“Did he tell you why he wanted you to watch his dog?” my mother questioned.

“No,” he replied matter-of-factly. “He just walked away.”

“True blind men don’t ‘just walk away’ without their seeing-eye dog. It was a set up. That dog was trained to run out in front of the horse. But whether or not the intention was for the dog to be trampled, we cannot be sure,” my father stated.

Calmed, I spoke, “You need to call in and tell the police what you know. This could turn out to be something more than just a dead dog or a dead horse. This could be a threat on my life, bro.” I sighed, frustrated and scared, but I tried to remain calm. I didn’t want to die.
