- Last week we had some exciting changes: New (similar) logo, pretty background header, lots of fixes. Cost of contests went up for awhile to 200, but is now back to 100 due to problems with current contests. Chat has had many updates and now notifies you when you have a new message. Drafts, with autosaving, to help prevent losing data. We've updated how backgrounds work too. Enjoy!
- As writers, we love to put words in other people's (i.e. our characters's) mouths. This article will help you use correct punctuation when writing that dialogue.
- In this increasingly technological age, humanity, a natural born predator, has found a new way to stalk it's prey. This column is one of many dedicated to users staying safe on the internet.

New Chatterbox Ban System by Kevin, from Barbara
The chatroom is a common source of frustration on Storywrite, and we've launched a new system where you get to be the chat helper.
- Okay, not really 'all' you need to know, but a few helpful rules/guidelines regarding fan fiction.
-
ONLY use this fix if you need to fix the chatbox in Internet Explorer and you DO NOT use Firefox to browse the internet.
This fix WILL DEFINITELY disable flash in Firefox. -
This fix has been tested by myself and resolved my Chatbox issue. It might not work for all, but atleast it's a possible solution.
I'm not certain this fix works for Internet Explorer. I'm still checking on that.
As for what causes the issue, it's upgrading to Adobe Flash 9. This means you're stuck with version 8 until they resolve the issue. Sorry.

The title isn't meant to show that people are gullible, just that I may have been for following them for so long. Also, a lot of these places publish novels, or are connected to companies that do.
